Ingredients
- 9 " unbaked pie shell
- 1 c thinly sliced apples
- 1/3 c sugar
- 1/2 teas cinnamon
- 1/4 teas nutmeg
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c milk, scalded
- 1 teas vanilla
- 1/4 teas salt
Preparation
Step 1
Arrange apples on bottom of unbaked pie shell. Combine 1T sugar with cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over the apples. Beat together eggs, and remaining sugar, milk, vanilla and salt. Pour over apples in pie shell. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
