Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons turkey fat or butter
- 1 large onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup Chablis or other white wine
- 1 cup turkey broth
- 3 cups diced cooked turkey meat
- 8 ounces cooked linguine
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- Grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, heat the turkey fat over high heat. Add the onions and mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes. Add wine, turkey broth and turkey meat and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over linguine with almonds sprinkled on top. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese. Serves 3 to 4.
