Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons turkey fat or butter
- 1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, stemmed, seeded, and sliced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1/3 cup pimento strips
- 2 cups diced cooked turkey meat
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, heat the turkey fat. Add the mushrooms and green pepper and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir once. Add remaining ingredients and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serves 2.
