This is a fantastic salad to take to a pot luck. Prepare the lettuce, and dressing and toss just before serving. It is always fresh and crisp, and a great hit.

Very good salad but....as she's slicing the "red" onion she says "I don't know why they call these red onions"? Really??? Just sayin"

Yummy! I made this for the first time for our daughter's first birthday. Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. This was one of the easiest salads. Another house staple and as other reviewers stated, you can add anything you wish. A must try!

LOVED THE SALAD. I TWEEKED IT A LITTLE THE SECOND TIME I MADE IT AND ADDED FETA CHEESE AND CUCUMBERS. WOW WAS THAT GOOD. I ALSO JUST USED BAGGED LETTUCE. I AM NOT A TOMATO LOVER BUT MY HUSBAND AND KIDS ARE SO I MADE IT FOR THEM THE FIRST TIME BUT I REALLY LIKED IT EVEN THE TOMATOS.

This recipe was easy and tasty. I chopped the onions in lieu of slicing them and also minced the garlic. Next time, I will use red leaf lettuce in lieu of the iceberg. Went great with steaks (and I could see adding the steak on top of the salad. Thanks, Ree!

This is really tasty & quick. The yellow tomatoes are a bit pricey because the ones I bought didn't have much flavor. Possibly use a yellow pepper instead? Next time I'll try that. All in all, GOOD!
