Ingredients
- Canola oil
- 12 oz beer
- 1 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 lb large peeled deveined shrimp
- Split crust Italian or French loaf
- lettuce, tomato, mayo, lemons, and hot sauce
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium pot, heat canola oil to 350 degrees. In a large bowl mix together beer, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and paprika. Coat shrimp in cornmeal mix, fry in batches until golden, approx 2 min. Serve on bread w/ toppings.
