Pasta - Spinach and Pasta - Pascento

Ingredients

  • 1 Lemon or juice of
  • 2-3 large cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken or beef broth
  • 8 oz frozen leaf spinach
  • 1/2 lb fettuccine or linguine noodles
  • Black pepper for taste
  • Red pepper flakes for taste

Preparation

Step 1

Start the water boiling with oil and parsley first

In a frying pan add oil and sauté garlic on low

At the same time the noodles go into the water add to the frying pan: juice of lemon, broth, frozen spinach and black & red pepper. Simmer. Just before the noodles are done drain and add to spinach mixture and simmer together for 5 minutes.

Garnish with slice of lemon and parsley.
