Crabmeat Cheese Fondue

This is an oldie but goodie - not sure where it came from.

Ingredients

  • 1 five ounce jar process sharp American cheese spread
  • 1 8 ounce package of cream cheese
  • 1 7 1/2 can Alaska King crab, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 cup light cream
  • 1/4 t worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 t garlic salt
  • 1/4 t cayenne pepper
  • French bread, cubed
  • veggies, cut up for dipping

Preparation

Step 1

In the top of a double boiler or in the microwave, combine cheese spread and cream cheese. Heat and stir until blended and smooth.

Add remaining ingredients, except for breads and veggies, and heat until well blended, stirring occasionally.

Serve hot in a fondue pot or chafing dish with chunks of French bread and/or chunks of veggies - carrots, celery, broccoli, green pepper, etc.

I would triple this for a group when being served with other appetizers. I've doubled it to serve to a group of 5 -6 for a lite dinner with soup.
