Ingredients
- 3 lbs. baking potatoes peeled
- 3/4 to 1 cup milk
- 6 tbsp. unsalted butter
Preparation
Step 1
Place potatoes in medium pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil heat to a simmer add generous pinch salt and continue to simmer till potatoes fork tender about 20 minutes. Drain and return to pot to dry slightly. Run through food mill into pot. Heat milk in saucepan then add to potatoes over heat till smooth. Add butter and heat till finely textured and fluffy.
