Ingredients
- 1 Cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 heaping tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk or buttermilk
- 1 Tbs oil
- 1 Tbs sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all together. Heat enough oil to cover the bottom in iron skillet hot.
Pour in mix, wait till batter just starts to bubble (like you do pancakes), then put in hot oven. 425 for ten minutes.
