Fettucine Alfredo

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 onion, thinly sliced
• 4 cups whipping cream
• 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp pepper
• 1 pkg fettucine noodles
• 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
• 1 tsp nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Heat butter in skillet. Saute onions. Stir in whipping cream. Heat to boiling. Stir in 2 tbsp cheese, 1 tsp nutmeg, salt and pepper. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring frequently.

Cook fettuccine as directed. Drain. Mix noodles and sauce. Top with 2 tbsp cheese and 1 tsp nutmeg.
