Asian Noodle Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 - packs of beef Ramen Noodles (keep beef flavor packets - will be used in wet mixture)
  • 1 - 10 or 16 oz bag of coleslaw mix (depending on preference - 10 is best)
  • 1 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup sliced toasted almonds
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of red wine vinegar
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 3/4 cup of olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, sugar, red wine vinegar, and beef flavor packets. In a separate bowl, combine uncooked noodles (broken up), almonds and sunflower seeds. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the noodles and stir well. Let stand overnight or at least 6-8 hours in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally. Add the coleslaw 2-4 hours prior to serving. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
