Ingredients
- 1 lb. Sliced Bacon
- 2 (8 oz.) Cans Water Chestnuts, whole
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
- /4 Cup Chili Sauce
- Toothpicks
Preparation
Step 1
Cut bacon strips in half. In skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until almost crisp; drain. Wrap each piece around a water chestnut. Secure with toothpick. Place in ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Combine brown sugar, mayonnaise, and chili sauce. Pour over water chestnuts. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Yield: About 2 1/2 dozen.
