Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 pound carrots- sliced diagonally
- 1 medium green pepper cut in 1 inch strips
- 1 8 ounce can pineapple chunks
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Cook carrots for 15 minutes. Add pepper and cook 3 minutes. Drain pineapple and add water to make 1/3 cup liquid. Add to sauce ingredients and cook over medium heat until bubbly. Pour over carrots.
