Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 1 pound carrots- sliced diagonally
  • 1 medium green pepper cut in 1 inch strips
  • 1 8 ounce can pineapple chunks
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons soy sauce

Step 1

Cook carrots for 15 minutes. Add pepper and cook 3 minutes. Drain pineapple and add water to make 1/3 cup liquid. Add to sauce ingredients and cook over medium heat until bubbly. Pour over carrots.
