Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 squid
- 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion
- 3 stalks green onion
- 3 Korean green peppers
- 1 Korean red pepper
- 1 carrot
- 4 cups steamed rice (golf ball sized rice balls)
- 1/2 head cabbage
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons red pepper powder
- 2 tablespoons Korean red pepper paste
- 1 teaspoon “HON-DASHI”
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
Preparation
Step 1
1. Clean squid and cut into bite size pieces.
2. Chop onion, green onion, peppers, and carrot into bite size pieces.
3. Mix sauce ingredients in sauce bowl.
4. In hot pan, put oil and ginger and stir. Add squid and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
5. Add chopped vegetables and stir. Add Sauce and stir again. Serve over rice ball and finely sliced cabbage (cabbage underneath).
