Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 1/4 cups catsup
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup lemon juice from concentrate
- 1 tbsp. prepared spicy brown mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2-3 drops Tabasco
- 4 lbs. beef stew meat, cubed
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. In medium saucepan, combine water, catsup, onion, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt, pepper and Tabasco. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Place beef in a 2-quart casserole. Pour sauce over beef. Cover and bake 3 hours. Remove from oven. Using two forks, shred meat.
Serve with onion relish.
