Crostini with Pears, Gorgonzola and Honey

Ingredients

  • 6 thick slices country style bread/ toasted
  • 1 large firm ripe pear thinly sliced
  • 5 1/2 oz orgonzola
  • 3 T brown sugar
  • 1 T butter
  • 4 tsp honey
  • freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Saute pear slices in sugar & butter until caramelized.
Spread gorgonzola on bread. Top w/ pears.
Drizzle w/ honey and sprinkle w/ fresh pepper.
