Ingredients
- 1/2 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
- 1 TBS cornstarch
- 2 TBS soy sauce
- 2 TBS orange marmalade
- 1 TBS rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp to 1 1/2 tsp chile garlic sauce (to taste)
- canola oil
- 12 oz beef top sirloin trimmed and cut into 1/4 inch strips
- 1 TBS minced fresh ginger
- 1 lg onion slivered
- 1 sm red pepper
- snow peas
- Serve over rice or you can pre cook pasta and add to dish
Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 7 ingredients and mix well.
Heat oil in wok or large skillet . Add beef and stir fry until browned. Remove. Add additional oil and stir fry ginger until fragrant (10-20 sec). Add onion, bell peppers and pea pods. Stir fry 2-4 min until crisp tender. Add beef back in and sauce mixture. Cook stirring until sauce is thickened. Serve immediately over rice
you can also pre cook pasta and stir in when beef is returned to skillet
