Ingredients
- 1 large onion, finely copped
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb. lean groung pork
- 2 tsp. each; chili powder & oregano leaves, crumbled
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. liquid hot pepper seasong (opt.)
- 5 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups canned enchilada sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Combine onion, ground beef, ground pork, chili powder, oregano, cumin, cinnamon, salt, hot pepper seasing and vinegar.
In a wide frying pan over medium-high heat, brown meat mixture lightly, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add enchilada sauce and boil rapidly, uncovered, until liquid is gone. Skim off accumulated fat.
