Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Ingredients

  • 6 lb bone in turkey breast, cut in half
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 med onion, quartered
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

Rinse turkey and pat dry.
Rub oil over turkey. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place turkey, meaty side up, in slow cooker.
Place onion and garlic around sides of slow cooker.Add water.
Cover and cook for 7-8 hours on low. Remove turkey and let stand for 10 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes, cranberry salad, and corn or green beans.
