Ingredients
- 1 lb bulk Italian Sausage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 c chopped onion
- 1 lb sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 can (46oz) V8 juice
- 1 can (6oz) tomato paste
- 1 t sugar
- 1 t worcestershire sauce
- 1 t salt
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1 t dried oregano
- 1/2 t dried basil
- 1/2 t pepper
- sour cream, optional
Preparation
Step 1
In a dutch oven, cook the sausage, beef and onion over med heat until the meat is done. Drain.
Stir in the mushrooms, v juice, tomato paste, sugar, worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for an hour. Garnish with sour cream if desired.
