Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 2 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 tsp. sriracha Asian hot chili sauce or 1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce
- Salad
- 2 cups frozen shelled edamame, thawed
- 1/2 lb. uncooked Japanese Soba noodles or whole wheat linguini
- 1 14 ounce package coleslaw mix
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 3 tbsp sesame seeds
Preparation
Step 1
In small bowl whisk the first nine ingredients.
Cook edamame and soba noodles in boiling water.
Just before serving combine coleslaw, carrots, green onion, noodles and edamame in large bowl.
Add dressing.
Garnish with sesame seeds.
