Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c hot cooked rice
- 1 t butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 c skim milk
- 1 t flour
- 1 1/2 t curry powder
- Dash salt
- 1/2 lb cooked shrimp
Preparation
Step 1
While rice is cooking, melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, cover and cook 4-6 minutes or until onion begins to brown, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine milk and flour. Blend well. Add flour mixture, curry powder and salt to onions. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly, and thickened. Stir in shrimp, cook until shrimp are thoroughly heated. Serve over rice.
