Ingredients
- 1/2 lb top round steak
- 1/2 c. beef broth
- 2 t soy sauce
- 1/4 c orange juice concentrate
- 2 t lime juice
- 1 t sesame oil
- 1 t minced garlic
- 1 t minced ginger
- 1 t cornstarch
- pam
- 1 t canola oil
- 1 small vidalia onion
- 3 c scallions
Preparation
Step 1
1) place steak in freezer til firm but not frozen (about 20 min) cut slices against the grain
2) in large bowl, whisk together ingredients 2 thru 8. stir in cornstarch til lumps are gone and put aside
3) coat wok with pam. add oil and warm over md heat. add onions til soften, about 5 minutes. increase heat and add steak. cook for 3-4 minutes til steak browns.
4) reduce heat and add broth mixture. cook til thickens, about 3 minutes. garnish with scallions
