Pumpkin Pie Shake

Why go to the trouble of making a pie, when you can whip this up and enjoy either at the holidays or on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Whole Milk
  • 3 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 3 cups Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 3/4 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
  • 3/4 tsp Pumpkin Spice
  • Whip Cream (either home made or canned)

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar in the milk.
2. Combine the milk and sugar mixture with the ice cream, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice in a blender on high. Blend until smooth, stir if necessary.
3. Pour the shake into two glasses.
4. Combine a small amount of sugar and pumpkin pie spices for garnish.
5. Top the shake with whip cream then sprinkle sugar and spice mixture.
