HARVARD BEETS

Ingredients

  • 1 medium can sliced beets
  • 1/4 C sugar
  • 1/2 T cornstarch
  • 1/4 C vinegar
  • 1/4 C beets liquid
  • 2 T oleo

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add vinegar and beet liquid -- boil for 5 minutes
Add the beets and let stand 10 to 15 minutes. Warm and add 2 T oleo just before serving
