Ingredients
- 2 3/4 C flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2-1 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 1 1/2 C sour cream
- 1 1/2 C sour cherries
- 1/2 C butter, softened
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Grease and flour the muffin cups or line with paper cups. Combine flour, soda and salt in a bowl and mix well. In a separate mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the eggs, almond, vanilla, sour cream and dry ingredients. Mix until just moistened. Fold in the cherries. Fill the muffin cups about 2/3 full. Bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean and the tops are lightly browned.
