Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 1 cup minute rice
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup or more chopped onion
- salt and pepper
- 1 large can tomato juice
- 5 strips of bacon
- 2 cups or more of chopped cabbage
Preparation
Step 1
In a roaster cover bottom with tomato juice. Mix together meat, rice, bread crumbs, onion, salt & pepper to taste. Place in roaster - chopped cabbage first, then meat mixture and end with more cabbage. Cover with remaining tomato juice. Place bacon on top. Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours at 350.
