Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs green beans, cut into 1 in pieces
- (NOTE: 2 10oz packages of frozen cut green beans can be substituted for the fresh ones)
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 medium clove garlic, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Heat beans in 1 inch of salted water (1/2 tsp salt to 1 cup water) to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes. Cover and simmer until crisp-tender. 10 or 15 minutes longer; drain.
In 1 quart saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir sesame seeds and garlic until seeds are golden brown, 3-5 minutes.
Add butter and soy sauce. Heat until butter is melted. Stirring occasionally. Toss with green beans.
