Ingredients
- 3 T vegetable oil, divided
- 3 lbs chicken wings, tips removed
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 T tomato paste
- 2 t water
- 1 t sugar
- 1 t pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Heat 1 1/2 T oil in skillet over medium heat. Brown chicken wings on each side in batches. (about 1 to 2 minutes each side, transfer with slotted spoon to slow cooker.
Combine honey, soy sauce, remaining oil and garlic in medium bowl. Whisk in tomato paste, water, sugar and pepper. Pour over chicken, cover, cook on low 6 to 8 hours or high 3 to 4 hours.
