Cherry Fruit Swirl

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2 c butter softened
  • 1/2 c shortening
  • 1 1/2 t baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 t almond extract
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1-2 cans cherry pie filling

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients (except for flour and pie filling) for 3 minutes on high. Add 3 cups of flour.
Spread 2/3 of batter on a large greased cookie sheet. Pour 1-2 cans of cherry pie filling on top of batter. Dot remaining 1/3 batter on top of filling (carefully spread batter out flat).
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
