Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds stewmeat
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 5 - 6 potatoes diced
  • 5 - 6 carrots cut up
  • 3 - 4 celerly stalks cut up
  • 3 onions diced small
  • 1 can beef broth
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 bay leaf - remove before serving
  • salt/pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Put all ingredients in crock pot. Cook low 6 - 7 hours. Do not stir or uncover during cooking. Serve with sweet bread.
