cranberry-orange sauce recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 15oz can whole cranberry sauce

Preparation

Step 1

in 2 quart saucepan, combine cornstarch with lemon peel, cloves and salt, stir in orange and lemon juice until smooth.

over high heat, cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is smooth and thickened.

stir in cranberry sauce and heat through, stirring occasionally. serve hot or cold.
