Apple Crisp (MOM'S)

Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Apples
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Quick Cooking or Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/3 cup Butter or Margarine, softened
  • 3/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg (if you don't have nutmeg use a bit more cinnamon)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease bottom and sides of 8 inch square pan.

Spread apples in pan. In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients until well mixed. (Use your hands) Sprinkle over apples.

Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Serve warm with ice-cream.
