Ingredients
- 5 strips of bacon, chopped fine
- 1 head of cabbage, sliced julienne
- 1 tablespoon fennel seed, toasted
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 ounces vinegar
- 2 ounces white wine
- 2 ounces gin
Preparation
Step 1
Directions:
Place all ingredients into large stockpot. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
Cook 40 minutes per pound, or until meat is tender.
