Ingredients

  • 1 Cedar Plank
  • 1 cup Rye
  • 1/2 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/3 cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Parsley Flakes
  • 3 tbsp Chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 lb Side of Salmon, skin removed (or 8 Salmon fillets)

Preparation

Step 1

Soak cedar plank in water for at least 8 hours or overnight, turning several times to soak both sides or weigh down with heavy object to keep submerged

Combine next 7 ingredients in shallow dish

Add fish. Turn to coat. Cover. Marinate in refrigerator of unto 24 hours.

Drain and discard marinade. Preheat gas barbecue to medium-low. Place salmon on cedar plank on ungreased grill. Close lid. Cook for 15 to 30 minutes (depending on thickness of fish) until fish flakes easily when tested with fork.
