Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups Ritz Cracker Crumbs
  • 1 stick of melted butter
  • 2 1/4 cups grated cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the pineapple and its juice with the sugar in a saucepan. Heat until the sugar is dissolved. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a casserole or baking dish, layer the pineapple, cracker crumbs, butter, cheese in three layers, saving the last ¼ cup of cheese to sprinkle over the top. Bake uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
