Glazed Lemon Bars

Ingredients

  • Glaze:
  • 2 Tbl. powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbl. firm margarine
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup fat free cholesterol free egg product or 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbl. Reduce Fat Bisquick
  • 2 tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 2 Tbl. Lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbl. plus 1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • Stir ingredients until smooth

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together 1 cup Bisquick and powdered sugar. Cut in butter using pastry blender until mixture is fine crumbs. Press mixture in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of ungreased square 8 X 8 pan. Bake about 10 minutes.

Stir together remaining ingredients, except glaze. Pour over baked layer. Bake 25 minutes. While warm, loosen edges from sides of pan. Spread glaze, cool completely about 1 hour.
