Carmelized Onion Flatbread

Ingredients

  • 1 lg sweet onion, sliced
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 lb. bakery pizza dough
  • 1 1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425. Saute onion in 1 Tbsp hot oil over medium-high heat 15 minutes or until golden brown. Press dough into 15x10 cookie sheet, pressing to about 1/4" thick. Press handle of wooden spoon into dough to make indentations at 1" intervals. Drizzle with remaining 2 Tbsp. oil, sprinkle with salt, rosemary, and onions. Bake at 425 on lowest rack 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
