Ingredients
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3/4 lbs tomatillos, roasted and peeled
- 2 garlic cloves, minced, or 2 tsp granulated garlic
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 2 avocados, peeled
Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion in oil. Cut tomatillos in half and add to onion, lime juice and seasonings. Cook 2 minutes, then set aside to cool.
Peel and put avocados in food processor. Add tomatillos with onion mixture into the food processor. Puree until smooth.
Allow sauce to stand one hour before serving.
