Ingredients
- 1/2 pound sweet italian sausage
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cans(8 oz each) stewed tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup coarsely shredded cabbage
- 1 cup uncooked tortilleni
- 1/2 cup crushed basil
- fresh grated parmesean cheese
Preparation
Step 1
brown sausage. drain. stir in remaining ingredients except cheese. bring to a boil. reduce heat to low and simmer 10-15 minutes until tortellini is tender. serve topped with cheese.
may double recipe and use 28 ounce can of whole tomatoes
