Caramel Popcorn

I like to make my caramel popcorn from a popcorn ball recipe, so it turns out chewy. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 7 cups popped corn
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup Light Syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cook to 250 degrees or until a few drops form a hard ball when dropped into cold water. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over popped corn in thin stream stirring constantly and mix well. Spread onto waxed paper or greased cookie sheets to cool. Store in air tight container.
