Ingredients
- 1/4 C sliced almonds
- 5 C fresh green beans
- 2 T butter
- 1/2 small onion
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 3 C grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 t dried basil
Preparation
Step 1
Place almonds in a large skillet, cook over med heat til light golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
add 1/2 C water & green beans, steam til tender crisp. Remove from skillet and set aside; remove water from skillet and wipe dry w/ paper towel.
Return skillet to heat and add butter, onion, basil, and garlic cook 30 mins. Add tomatoes; cook til tomatoes are heated through.
Add green beans and almonds, toss to coat and heat through. Season w/ salt and pepper.
