Ingredients
- 2 C sugar
- 1/2 C port
- 4 C fresh cranberries
- 1/4 C orange liquer (grand marnier)
Preparation
Step 1
Stir together sugar, port and 3/4 C water in heavy saucepan. Add cranberries, bring to boil and cook over med heat 8-10 minutes, stir often. Just until skins begin to split on cranberries. Remove and let cool 15 minutes.
Pulse mixture in food processor or with emulsifier until almost puree. Stir in orange liquer. Chill 8 hours before serving.
Can be stored up to 3 weeks in airtight container.
