Ingredients
- 30 mini chocolate chip cookies
- 1 package soft and chewy caramels
- 120 pecan halves (2 cups)
- 1 package semisweet chocolate pieces (1 cup)
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cover 2 baking sheets with waxed paper; coat with non stick cooking spray. Arrange cookies on paper.
2. Combine caramels and 4 tsp water in large microwave safe glass measuring cup. Microwave, uncovered, at 100 percent power for 30 seconds. Stir to mix. Microwave 15 more seconds.
3. Top each cookie with 1/2 tsp caramel mixture. Press 4 pecan halves into caramel mixture on each cookie to resemble turtle feet.
4. Place chocolate in clean microwave safe bowl. Microwave at 100 percent for 1 minute or until melted. Stir until smooth. Spoon 1 tsp chocolate over pecans on each cookie. Sprinkle chopped pecans over soft chocolate.
5. Refrigerate at least 45 minutes to set.
