Ingredients
- 5 potatoes
- 1/3 cup Romano Cheese
- 1 Egg
- Butter
- 1 Teas Nutmeg
- 1/2 cup Ham or Bacon, if desired
- Basil or Parsley
- Cup of broccoli or spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup Mozarella Cheese
- Bread Crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
Microwave 5 Potatoes
Remove skins after cooked.
Mash with pastry blender
Add 1/3 cup Romano Cheese, Egg, 1 teasp nutmeg and dot of butter
Mix with hands
Stuffing: Mix broccoli or spinach with mozarella cheese, ham or bacon with basil or parsley. Mix well.
On floured cutting board, roll potato around until about size of a large golf ball. Roll with floured hands.
Make a trench down center of Potato
Put a little bit of mixture in and pinch potato closed.
Roll in flour into cylinder shape.
Dip in beaten egg and roll in bread crumbs until well coated.
Make sure fat is very hot and cook about 1 minute until golden brown.
