Ingredients
- 3/4 c sifted flour
- 2 C grated cheddar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 C melted butter
- 2 C thinly sliced onions
- 1 C dry cooked and drained fine noodles
- 2 eggs
- 1 C milk (scalded(
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl, blend flour, 1 C grated cheese, salt, mustard and melted butter. Press mixture intoa 9" pie plate. Melt 3 T butter in skillet and saute onions until tender but not brown. Remove from heat and add noodles and toss lightly. Pour into pie plate. beat eggs slightly and slowly stir into scolded milk, 1 tsp salt, pepper, and 1 cup grated cheese. Pour over noodles and bakd 325 for 30-35 minutes.
