Bannana Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 Large or 3 small bannanas
  • 2 C Flour
  • 1/2 TSP Baking powder
  • 3/4 TSP Baking soda
  • 1/2 TSP salt
  • 1/2 C Shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1.5 C sugar
  • 1 TSP Vanilla
  • 1/4 C Buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Put bannana into small bowl, beat until mashed.

Sift together, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In large bowl mix, shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.

To shortening mixture add buttermilk, and sifted flour mixture alternately with mashed bannana. Beat about 2 min.

Bake @ 350 until done
