Ingredients
- 6 apples
- 1/2 C sugar
- 3/4 ts salt
- dash of cinnamon or nutmeg
- 2 TB flour
- 1 pie shell
- 1 TB Crisco
Preparation
Step 1
Pare and slice apples.
Mix dry ingredients together and combine with appple slices.
Pour into pie shell, dot with crisco.
Add topping or top of pie crust.
Bake 10-15 minutes at 425.
reduce heat to 350 and bake for 45 minutes longer.
Brush egg over crust for a glazed look.
