Pickled Beets

Ingredients

  • 15 lbs beets
  • 12 cups vinegar
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 3 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 3 tsp allspice
  • 3 Tbsp mustard seeds
  • 3 tsp cloves
  • 3 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and chop beets. Steam until soft.

Meanwhile combine all the ingrediants and bring to a boil. Pir over cooked beets in clean jars and seal.

Can for about 10 minutes
